Is the 25-06 a good complement for the 22-250?
« on: December 04, 2006, 01:53:06 PM »
I'm thinking about aquiring another varmint rifle.  I now have a 22-250, but would like to acquire a rifle with a round that is more capable to buck the winds and/or reach out further.  Is the 25-06 the round that I am looking for?

Which of the custom gun makers would you like to build a first-class rig for you?

Thanks,

Jay

Thats the combo I use most for prarie dogs. Works great for me. Don't have an opinion on a custom gun, Mines a 110 tactical in a Choat Varment stock thats been weighted down to 18lbs. Definetly a bench gun but it doesn't beat you up and its very accurate.   KN
