Hello from CT
« on: December 05, 2006, 02:52:20 AM »
Hi Folks,
I probably should have posted in this forum first, but there's sooooo much good info on this site I didn't even realize this forum existed until just now.
I did a litle (bird) hunting in my twenties but then life and raising a family took over. I worked like a dog fo 20 +/- years and now have some toime to get back into the woods. Unfortunately, I've had little to no mentoring, as my parents were anti-gun. Not actively, just within the family unit. I just purchase my first muzzleloader/scope and hope every thing comes together in time to get a day or two in the field before deer season closes. i've scouted an area that I think will be okay. Theres a stream with deer tracks with a path that leads to a field where a portion of the trees have been cut. I walked into the area and saw two or three whitetails bolt in the other direction. I haven't been back since as I don't want to drive them out. Any suggestions for the new kid on the block? Thanks.
