.223 and nosler 60gr. partition
« on: December 06, 2006, 02:32:46 PM »
has anyone had any luck in the accuracy department with these bullets in your handi? i'm wanting to use them in my rifle for my son to shoot small hogs. this weekend he used some factory loaded 55gr. trophy bonded bear claws that i got a deal on. they worked great. just wondering how well the handis will stabilize the 60 grainer?

The 60gr NPs have been mentioned as shooting good in the 1:12" twist .223 barrels, another one that's been mentioned that shoots good is the 64gr Win PP, you might want to try it if the NPs don't work out or you want to spend a little less on bullets. ;D
