20 inch is short to me but i want to know also. As far as barrel length me and a friend have the same slug gun I know it is differnt but any way mine 18 inch riot gun his 24 in turkey gun both dead on 75 yards his 1inch low at 100 mine 2 3/4 low his 150 yards 3 inch low mine 19 inch low. If your like me the closer the better so that does not matter. but I would not shoot past 40 yards until I tested down range energy

I got one last spring, midway or midsouth (I forget which now) had them on clearance. It was already turkey season so I just patterned it with the Win #5s i'd been using. They shot fine. The only problem is the recoil is "stout" to say the least. But you don't shoot turkey guns much.
I had looked at the Katahdin ML barrels, didn't like them. I prefer a little more muzzle weight for a rifle. However on a turkey gun it's great. One thing I haven't figured out yet it is how to put scope on it, but I'm not really interested in doing that at this point.
