Well I can see by the little counter on board that our our beloved Quickdto is coming up to soon being the first and only 10K poster on this site. I think it might even happen before the new year. Perhaps if Quick could post his address here we could all send him a little something to commemerate the occurance, I am sure any old (or new) Handi you no longer have need for would be appreciated. How about it GB, perhaps a little plaque from the management for all of Tim's good work and his achievement of 10,000 posts, a record number. And to think it was only about 2 or 3 years ago or so that we all came here as a bunch of homeless Handiholics (the boat people) looking for a place to call home. GB himself opened the door, invited us in and out of the cold. Little did GB know at that time that this ragged bunch of aflicted Handiholics would boost his site and numbers by so much, even to starting the Annual PD shoot. I realize we have on occasion been a handful for him but as long as we have members like Quick and the others here to keep us in line all will be well.
I want to personally thank Tim for all he has done for us and this site...Merry Christmas buddy, you deserve it!!!!....<><....

Thanks MSP, no need for Handi gifts, I'm just curious if the counter will roll over to 5 digits, or I get to start over again, which would be fun in itself, cuz it sure have been fun for the last 2½yrs with the exception of a rough spot or two.

I'm thinkin' that when it rolls over to 5 digits it's gonna rip a hole in the space-time continuum. H&R will see the light....no more transfer bars............complete selection of replacement barrel calibers from .22 to .475.......whatever length you want.........adjustable hinge pins........new NEF double rifle in .45-90 and .375 flanged.

See Quick, those replies got you two posts closer to the 10K mark. Now about those rough spots, remember that avatar you just helped get back for me? Well it's gone again after today's last round of "fix-it", but no problem, everyone else's are gone also. I also see that new but problematic "trade count" number and the link to is is gone also. I wanted to post "good-guy"/"atta-boy" posts for Stimpylu32 and Datil, another two of the old fashoned, honest, trustworthy, man of thier word types, the kind you can count on all the time, but since the new "trade-count" is down I posted them in the classified traders section. Thanks to you Datil and Stimpylu32, and to you Tim for all you have done for us....<><....

GB is outa town for a few days but as to Tim and his mile stone... atta boy.... You know his place at GBO has been set in stone pretty much as he is one of only 2 Global Mods on GBO... He dont just keep the handi forums and classified forums running shoot he works in all of them for us... Shoot I think he and I should get a raise... hmm double our current pay should work... what you think Tim.

btw. the trade count will be back... lost it and a few other things to include ALL attachments to posts. but I am thinking we only lost 10 to 20 posts when it was said and done with and only 1 member account.

16 plus hours of non stop upgrading and still 4 to five more hours to go... we are getting there.... oh yeah the search will be back working by Sun AM.

Well Tim if the truth be known you can still use it... Admins and Global Mods can still use the search feature and most any others that I have turned off to the general public. One of those perks you get... you know for those nearly 10k posts you have made...

). I had always thought GB paid you guys fairly well, but doubling your current pay? I would normally think that was a bit extravagant but upon reflection I came to the conclusion that if you double nothing you still get---- squat, or expiernece, I quess it all depends on how you look at it!!....<><....

Yeah well after reflecting I too have had a thought... seeing as knowledge and information is the payment type... to double my knowledge would mean that more things have to break inorder for me to double my "pay" so after careful considerations I have decided I want a pay cut rather than a raise... but we can still double Tims pay... I dont mind...

and you guys are always thanking me but it is me who thanks you... cause if you guys did not like the place so much and hang out here then things would not break or require me to step in and thus would leave me with nothing to do but play games on the computer for hours on end... now mind you I like to play computer games but not that much...

Here is how I see it:
GB is the Box and pins
The members are the Gears that go in the box and on the pins
I am the grease that makes it all keep on keepin on.

Take away any part of it and it will break... So thanks to all you for doing your part as well...

Brain cramp!!! with all this thought of the post counter number rolling back to a single digit or if the program will roll it over to 5 digits lets simply ask that overworked and underpaid techno-savvy guy Matt to set it up so it will go to 5 digits. If he can work that out it will be a while before even Quck needs 6 digits in his post counter!!!....<><....
