Barska Contour

 Hello to all...
I just ordered a handi in .223 cal. w/heavy barrel. Thinkin' about mounting a Barska Contour 3x9 on top. Does anyone have any experience with this model? What rings are suggested?

Welcome aboard! Can't say anything about Barska other that there is a following here for them. The little scope may be an issue mounting depending on how much lee way you have in rings, narrower ring caps would probably be the best. If it can be mounted so the ocular bell is ahead of the hammer, it would be great IF it has enough eye relief, if not, it will need medium or high rings to avoid hammer interference.

I have the 6x24x50 on this rifle and had to use the high rings to get the clearance needed to mount it .



Not so much for the hammer to clear , but the 50 mm front .
