No More Combo's
« on: December 11, 2006, 07:22:07 AM »

I spoke with NEF about an hour ago concerning what the differences are between the SB-1 frames & the SB-2 frames...and was also told the following..

They will be producing 1000 combo's...various calibers and configurations...total...and when they have done that...they will no longer be producing  any combo set......So...If you are in the market for one of these...and can order or get it...you better do so A.S.A.P...because when they are gone...they are gone...Cost was a factor in their decision on this as well as the time involved...Don't make sense to me...but..I guess that's the way of it anymore...

I guess this includes the Versa Pack too? I thought this was one of their better sellers ???
Bad move here if so.
At least make the offset rimfire barrels availible through the program to people.

I also called their customer service a couple of weeks ago  asking if they could help me locate a .50cal/.243 combo. The gal told me then, what's out there now is it-no more are being made. Had my locale gun dealer call all over the country looking for one. He even called a supplier in Alaska---nada.
