The short answer is that info is not available at all from anywhere. Shipping dates are available, and for federal law purposes, such as is it c&r elligible, this is considered the manufacture date. For 30 dollars you can get direct from s&w an exact shipping date and the configuration it left the factory in, where shipped to, and any interesting info they may have. For a general idea of shipping dates, get the standard catalog of s&w by Supica, don't ask where to find it. A new volume is coming out very soon.
