Vortex Optics Binocs..anyone seen these or used them?

Today I checked out a couple pair of these in 8x42. I have to say these are very clear and sharp, though not quite as bright as Swarvo's but they are over $1000 less, and very comparable to the Leupold Wind River..I believe it was.. and Swifts of the same power.
The are around $200.

Yes, the Vortex Vipers could be the best binoculars you can buy for under $500.

I see that they are coming out with a scope. Any news on this ???
