Ice house heaters and or other ice house tricks
« on: December 13, 2006, 08:14:03 PM »
What's everyone using. I like those Coleman Black Cats (catalytic heaters) that run off 17 oz bottles. They put out 3000 BTU. Menards had them on sale for $44.00 2 weeks ago. I refill my little propane bottles off the 20 pound tank with a refill  adapter.

Sportmans guide had some really neat small wood stoves from Norway last winter. They were old and used but oh so neat. They had a fish on the outside door and very heavy duty. Only $100 but alas...I did not get one since neither of my ice house rigged for wood heat.

Any other tricks you use for whatever?? I have a fan jury rigged to blow heat down to the hole to keep it ice free.
