Fall Turkey w/longbow in KS
« on: December 18, 2006, 05:11:22 AM »
Took this tom this weekend in central KS with my longbow. 60" Longriver Elk longbow, 55# and my homemade cedar arrow and Magnus 135grn broadhead. The tom was 23lb, 8" beard and 7/8" spurs. Hunted from a ground blind near a water hole close to where they fly down from the roost. 16yd shot and he went another five yards.
