Mojo sights: Any experiences with them?

I guess I can give you half an answer.  I bought and installed them (rear sight only) on a Swiss and a Swede.  They install easily, appear to adjust well, are well made, don't look bad on the rifles, and do give me a much better (excellent) sight picture.  I am 60 and the rear military sights don't work for me anymore.  Also, the customer service experience was excellent as I recall.  But, I haven't shot with them yet.  Seems I do more buyin' and talkin' than shootin' anymore.  So, up to this point, I think they are great.  I have a little time off in the next few days, I believe I'll go to the range.

I hear you brother. I'm 58.  Iron sights don't work for me either and  I certainly don't do as much shootin' as  I would like.  May we never lose our passion for our guns, even if we do lose the ability to use them as well and as often as when we were young men!

Well - Thank You for the kind words.  Much appreciated and I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas as well.  You're right, there are sure a lot of aches and pains now, and although the trend is downhill, there is still the passion.  I hope we never lose it.  Thanks again.

I'm not past the half century mark yet, but I put one of the Mojo rear sights on an old MN-44 and I have had excellent results with it.  They are extremely rugged and easily adjustable for point of impact.  Mine is the older one without the click adjustments, so I just sight it in for a maximum point blank range for deer sized game and leave it there. 

The sight picture is good with the front post on the Mosin.  I imagine that I would only be better if you used the front & rear sight combination.

They work I made a home made one on a Mosin and it does work a lot better than a open sight but it is still not a true Peep Sight.

I think they are great! I have bought around 10 of them - Enfield, Swiss, Mausers, Mosin Nagants. I can't see the military sights well enough  to shoot with them anymore. The Mojos allow me to actually aim. On an Enfield and a Swiss I had to make a small shim to go between the sight and the original sight holder. The rear sight on both of these guns would not go up high enough with the standard adjusting screw. I epoxied the shim in, but if I ever wanted to put the original sight back on I could knock the shim off with a chisel. I could have changed out the front sight also. I don't recall having any problems with any of the other guns and using the original front sights. The mojos allow you to see and easily adjust the sights on your milsurp without making permanent changes.

I like Peep Sights or aperature if you want to call them.  but for the rear sight alterations I prefer a Scout mount and scope.
