Utah - Hunters With Invalid Credit Cards Will Receive Phone Call

Salt Lake City -- Hunters may receive a phone call from the Division of Wildlife Resources starting April 30, informing them they've drawn a Utah big game permit but the credit card they've provided to pay for the permit is invalid.

If Utah Wildlife Administrative Services, the private contractor that handles hunting draws for the DWR, doesn't reach the hunter with their initial call, they'll make three other attempts within a two-day period, leaving a callback number each time. The hunter must return the phone call within a two-day period, or they'll lose their permit.

"We need to reach the hunter that fast so we'll have time to reissue the permit to another hunter, if the hunter who obtained the permit can't pay for it," said Judi Tutorow, wildlife licensing coordinator for the Division of Wildlife Resources. "We want to issue all of the permits and give as many people as possible a chance to hunt."

For more information, call the nearest Division of Wildlife Resources office, the DWR's Salt Lake City office at (801) 538-4700 or Utah Wildlife Administrative Services at 1-800-221-0659

southern utah,

I'd like to invite you to join us in the Western Big Game Hunting forum here at Greybeard.  I believe that this information would be of greater use in a forum that is for Western Big Game Hunters.  Lawdog   :D
