Who's getting 1 of the new 2007 offerings...
« on: December 20, 2006, 11:39:50 AM »
and which 1?

I want the 444 (but only if it is a 1:20 twist), I already have a original black laminate Ultra 444 w/the 1:38 twist, does anyone know yet what twist rate the new 444 will be?

I do like the looks of the 45 Colt, but already have a BC and think I'd rather have a levergun in 45colt anyway.

I wouldn't expect them to be available before February if past practice has any bearing.

I've already got Hornady .444 dies on my wish list hoping they come on sale at Midsouth, if that tells ya anything!!

Since the Marlin .444 is 1:20", and Marlin owns H&R, I'd like to think it will be a 1:20", but since when does that mean anything!

Any idea what the bore diameter of the .45 LC and the .444 Marlin will be? Why dosen't H&R list that info? Do you think someone/anyone there knows (or cares)?....<><.... ???

I sorta thought I might get one of the .45 Colt guns but today I think I managed to blow my entire gun budget for next year. Yeah I got a "little" carried away.  ::)

Well first I found a Browning Citori XS Sporting in .410 and then just had to have that Kreighoff K80 with the wood too fancy to even believe it's real with Briley 20, 28 and .410 tube sets in an Americase.

Most of my shooting is on the skeet range these days so it just seemed like the thing to do. Matt sorta indicated he thought I was crazy. Faye just shook her head and made no comment.  :o

That 444 barrel is sounding nice. But I have my reservations as most, with the twist and bore diameter..
