There's not much on the APV here, but plenty at RFC, it's made a lot of shooters happy there, it's been a big hit!! Go back a few pages in the Scopes, Rings and Mounts forum, lots of posts on the APV.

I have 6 Muellers, no APV tho, had the Eraticator on my Marlin 917 for a while, but moved it to my .204 Ruger Handi. Muellers are excellent optics, great customer service, for the money, they're hard to beat or even equal.

I have an Eraticator on my .204 Ultra Varmint and like it. I'm no expert on scopes, but I like the Mueller reticle and it is clear to the edges.

No problem with my Eraticator on high power, even in low light, turn on the dot and you're good to go, the superfine reticle needs the illuminated dot then. There's a little loss of brightness in low light, but that's normal for high power glass, even expensive optics.  One of the best sources for price is Mizzou Mule Guns.

I wouldn't know for sure since I don't have an APV, I have 3 Simmons ATVs which the APV was modeled after as a replacement since it's no longer available, that's what prompted Rich to engineer the APV. If you can mount it so the hammer swings just behind or ahead of the power ring, mediums for sure, but it just depends on the mounting position. You might contactl Rich at Mueller and ask him, he may know. I did a search at RFC and didn't find the answer.

nea243, My Eraticator is clear up to X25, if I can stay still :D. I am very pleased with my Mueller, the only issue is the shorter eye relief, which is no problem on a small caliber. I was able to mount mine where the hammer is just out of the way of the power ring, just as Tim talked about and it works great.
