how much soft do i put in?/

been making some 12 ga. slugs for years now..it has now come to my attention i may need to start adding some soft lead...my buddy recoved 2 this year thats 2 more than i ever found.they went all the way through the deer and were found inside the skin.both of these i could put in a sabot and shoot again.no damaga at all....i get my ww for free but have to bleed through the nose for soft lead <if> aand when i find it..i want to add enough to expand these slugs.these are not loaded real hot.i like it so i can shoot a slug without ripping my shoulder out of socket...any help????????jb

Look for "Recycling Services" in the Yellow Pages.
Ask for soft lead.
About $0.40 a pound around here.

You can also try ebay. There is a lot of soft lead there.

You might get lucky and find some real cheap there.
