.405 lasercast 45.70. Awsome

Thanksgiving weekend I spent some time with my new 45.70 handi and lasercast .405's over reloader 7 and after getting scope on they will shoot one ragged hole groups at 100 yards off sand bag on pickup hood!  I have often read similar reports on the 45.70 on GBO and wonderd if some embelishment might be going on but now all I can say is WOW! I should have never doubted the excellent reports found here.  I cant't wait to try these loads in the new stainless guide gun hiding under the Christmas tree! ;D

I shoot 405 gr. cast bullets I get from Montana Bullet Works in my SS Marlin Guide gun. I am getting great groups at 100 yards. This is my black bear gun.  ;D

What velocity are you pushing these cast bullets to?

My 1895GS likes those Laser-Cast 405gr over SR 4759 (1489 fps)

A friend of mine took his Elk two seasons ago with that same bullet over black powder (~1300 fps).  Complete pass through and as he says as far as he knows "it's still goin."

I am getting around 1600 fps with H332 powder.
