Remington Kleanbore 209 Primers

Awhile back I picked up a pack of these before I joined this inline group to share tips and idea's and also learn from better  exsperenced hunters.

Will these primers be a issue for me in my Omega rifle?

I plan to drive to one of the two local gun shops today for the loose powder talked about to try out also to see which of the 250 grain bullets I like....

I am not to fond of the coppar jacketed ammo... Only real reason is that I had a doe years back taken with a saboted  round with a jackets round and it shattered and I cut the inside of my lip with a small fragment of the bullet when it shattered after connecting with a shoulder blade and part of the fragment was stuck in some meat...

I would like to try some time the full lead sabot rounds yet they are 303 and higher grain wise..so I would have to later just get the powder charge correct for such bullets...

Thanks for any tips or views on these remington kleanbore primers to help a new muzzle loader out...

I have been shooting the Remington Kleen bore primers in my Encore Pro-hunter with 120 gr. of loose triple 7 with great results. The Remington Kleen bore primers should work good for you.

The only reason I will be switching is, because I am going to use the 25 ACP breech plug I had made for my Pro-hunter.
