Is the Mini 14 Ranch Rifle a good choice for a varmit rifle?

How big are your varmints? 2moa is about as good as you can realistic expect out of a factory Mini-14.
The thin factory barrel heats up fast and groups open up.
Say you are calling coyotes out to 200 or 250 yards, this should work for you.
I am planning on sending one of my Mini's out for a heavy barrel and some trigger work to Accuracy systems.
