a&h mountain rifle & pyrodex

hello;

received one of the last A&h mountain rifles.  anyone here have one of these rifles?  WAS planning to use pyrodex powder, not pellets.  instruction said not to use pyrodex pellets, only black powder.  anyone using just the old fashion pyrodex rs?  thanks.

If it's a cap lock no problem, if it's a flint stick to black powder. I had one in flint and 3f goex worked great.

Topic was just posted a few days ago.  The book says BP only but stamped on the barrel should say BP or Pyrodex powder.
