Well, you certainly wouldn't need one of those for black bear but the next time I go to Alaska hunting the big browns I'll try one of them! ;D

I've been eyeing the steyr prohunter for a while now in 338 fed.  Do you have any idea what the real world price is for a stainless synthetic (non camo stock)?

Sportsmens warehouse in fairbanks has a sale on all there rugers trying to get them out the door for the new line up.
Looks like I will have to seriously think about this new 450 marlin.
