Can anyone tell me if Remington Gun Club hulls can be used where reload data calls for Remington Premier STS hulls?

Don't know as I haven't seen them yet. I suggest you section a hull and compare it with the diagram in the Lyman Shotshell Manual #4. I've sectioned the black Remington hulls that come with their game loads and compared them to the diagram, and to a sectioned STS hull. They looked identical and the black Remington hulls seem to load fine with the STS hull data. Perhaps the gun club hulls are the same as the game hulls.

I think gun club are the same as sts & black hulls. one thing i like to do as well as compare base wad apperance, is to compare hull capacity. I use #9 shot and fill one hull to the top, then pour it to the hull i want to compare to. You can get a pretty good idea if everything will stack up right. Ive had good results this way, but still dont know exactly where my pressures are at. Hope this helps- Tad.

The black RP hulls and also the green field hulls that look like them are both identical to the old RXP hull except the plastic is a different composition and they won't last as long as the old RXPs did. But they load identical to that old discontinued hull. BTW I load the newer STS the same as I did the old RXP so if the hulls you are talking about look to be same as the STS that same data should work I'd think. For a couple of reloads those black hulls are hard to beat. They just don't last much past that.

What Remington really needs to do is resurrect the old RTL "Greeny" hulls. I still have about 1,500 and you can reload those a dozen or so times.

Great hull if you can find them.

The loads for the black or even gun club hulls are under Reminton SP formulas. They differ very slightly in that the pressures tend to run higher than STS I have heard. However I chose bushings and throw lighter or reduced charges - so I go ahead and use a similar formula to STS because not all books give you SP data, but throw a reduced charge and they shoot fine.
