Well that long cardboard box was right where I expected it to be ;D 45-70 Handi. Now if it will just stop raining long enough to git to the range >:(

Shaner,

Sorry so late on the reply about my pooch!  He is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.  Great little dogs and supposedly the choice of the Queen of England.  I'm sure that she would have plenty of staff available to brush the dog and clean up all of the hair that they shed.  I was pretty skeptical at first since I had mostly Rottweilers in the past but the little guy has held his own against all comers (except the cat! ;D)

Kinda late on the santa list of goodies but I didn't get a new handy or any other rifle as far as that goes.   
She did get me a Ruger Redhawk w/ 5 1/2" barrel. Shoulder holster,Gripper Grips, Quick Loaders with pouches and ammo to boot!!!
