Cleaning corrosion off lead round balls

I found a bunch of round lead balls in the basement, mostly .50 caliber but there’s also a mix of .440 possibly some .45,.530 and .570 caliber. I want to use a micrometer to find their true diameters. Some are most likely 30+ years old. Many have the whitish powdery corrosion on them. How would I clean them up!

I've never had such a problem - so I will only speculate. Power wash them on a warm sunny day - then leave out in the sun on some old towels unstacked to dry.  May want to use a troth or large bucket when spraying and soaking.

No problem, Spay them with WD40 and role them around on a rag.

Ok WD40 worked pretty good cleaning the round balls. A quick soaking and rolling in a rag worked good.
Now I can inspect and use them.
