Rimfire conversion for Encore
« on: December 26, 2006, 05:50:25 PM »
Anybody ever used one of those things?  How did it work and how hard was it to change out?

The rimfire barrel is the best news I have heard lately.  Hopefully it will be available in stainless.  Now if they will only offer the 6.8 Rem SPC in a stainless 26" barrel so I can rechamber to 270 Redding my 2007 will be in high gear even before New Years.

A rimfire barrel to be offered by T/C?  SWEET!  Wonder if that means the Contender is on the way out?

You can go with a barrel from OTT and you don't need 'no stinkin adapter' to go from rimfire to centerfire barrels, all you do is change out the barrel. I have the very first 22 rimfire barrel he made and it is a tack driver.

He is a great guy to deal with.
