Bipod on Fluted Ultra Varmint

I just picked up a fluted ultra 223 with the choate stock.  Im wondering if anyone has had luck (good or bad) with a folding bipod.  I used to have a generic clone of a harris folding bipod on my old mini14, but it didn't help accuracy at all.  Not to mention the springs on the folding legs would twang like a steel guitar every time I fired the gun.

I'd like to install an attached folder if possible, since it would be one less item to carry out in the field, but if they negatively affect accuracy on the handi, what would you recommend?  Most of my shooting will be from a bench, or prone, so a shorter length model is preferred.

I've had good luck with the cheapies from WalMart on my Fluted Handi's.............

Several people have added a second sling post to the back of th forearm for their bi-pods, seems to work best that way.

I have an Ultra Varmint .223 w/ Choate furniture. THe Walmart bipod works great on my Handi. No twanging, no accuracy issues. Frankly, I think the bipod is well made and sturdy and I can imagine why a Harris would be much better for almost twice as much $
