Blank AR-15 Magazines for Target Shooting
« on: December 28, 2006, 04:38:59 AM »
I am using a Hyskore shooting rest/vise for load testing.  I have a Bushmaster Varminter.  The problem that I am having is loading each round individually.  It is a pain in the butt!  I was wondering if anybody made any blank magazines that I could slap in so that I wouldn't have to weasel cold fingures through the chamber to make sure the round is in their properly?  The magazine also has to be somewhat short for the gun to fit correctly onto the rest.  Also, where could I order one?

Brownells (800.741.0015) carries several types: Sinclair, G.B. Systems and Bob Sled(ABS10), which I prefer. If you use one of the former two, put the adapter in its own magazine and paint it so you will not mix it up with a regular mag.
