what is going ptice for a huntsman 50/243 combo i am thinking about getting one or can i get a combo with different cal handi barrel and what is price of it thinking 30-06 instead of 243 thanks in advance i may be selling my huntsman and am deciding what to replace it with or i may just get the sidekick not sure

Good luck finding one, they don't make the Huntsman or combos any more, you'd have to find one from existing stock. Better keep your Huntsman and just buy a .243 or .30-06 Handi. See the NEF/H&R Centefire forum for info on them. Another option would be to buy the .243 or '06, then send the frame in for a Huntsman barrel, it's still available in the accessory barrel program, just not as a complete rifle.

Seen a .243/50 cal combo at a LGS a couple days ago, but it has the old plastic sights on the huntsman barrel. This one has been on display for about 3 years. Sorry, I didn't pay attention to the price, but you never know they MIGHT have newer ones NIB. You could cal or e-mail to check serial #'s, I think this one was about a 2003, which would be a NT. If they have one with a NU (2004) or NV (2005), they will have the better Williams Fire-Sights.  If you want an e-mail address or Phone # of the LGS, give me a PM. Their website is not completed and is in progress, so that is not much help.
