Scope for 20 Guage
« on: December 29, 2006, 12:18:15 PM »
I'm going to be picking up a new heavy barrel 20 gauge slug gun this week.  What kind of scopes are you guys using on yours ?  I understand, because the scope is mounted directly on the reciever, that some of the cheaper scopes come apart very easily.  Ben

Actually Ben, on a Handi the scope is mounted directly on the barrel, usually directly over the chamber. Barrel, reciever, or action, it's all the same as far as the scope is concerned, I have never heard that foolish idea before ::), sounds like something from a self proclaimed "gun expert". Just get a decent scope with a good warranty and you should be all set....<><.... :)

check out this thread, it might be of some help to you, and welcome aboard....
