Well with any luck i'll get up to the cabin next weekend and try to call in some coyotes. I'll be using my 25/06 handi topped with a tasco 6x24 . Shes sighted in with some nosler 85 grain Ballistic tips. And before i come home i'll get to shoot my 45/70 handi i had my friend cut the barrel for me from 22" to 18" he cut it on a band saw then used some kind of reamer on the muzzle to get off the sharp edges and its about 1/16" recessed like some muzzleloading barrels are . I then took the mannlicher stock and cut it so it now goes to the very end and topped it with a leupold 2.5 compact.I have a mercury recoil supressor in the stock and plan to use this as a tree stand or ground blind gun for close range deerhunting.
