MN passes CC

As a WI resident I am glad to see MN passed Concealed carry last night and their Gov signed it into law. # 35 Statewise!! Maybe we will be next in WI but we have a new anti gun Gov so we have to make sure we have enough votes to overturn his veto which I am sure he will do. Jim
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

Yes now everyone (law abiding) in Minnesota can carry a handgun with a permit under the new system.

Under the old system, the county I live in, was one of the few that the sheriff belived in giving out permits upon request (with a background check). So I could carry a handgun in ST.PL/MNPLS but the residents living down there couldn't!

Now it will be fair state wide, and hopefully it will be reciprocal with a few other states.  My Florida permit covers me in North Dakota now.

Not sure how the final bill turned out. There were some changes back and forth over the last few months of pushing it through.  I know that "not carrying in schools" did get added to courthouses and federal buildings.
