What do they do with the forearm when you have a Muzzleloader barrel fitted to a rife? Do they just cut out a slot for the ram rod? Or what about barrels with different outside diameters?

They give you a new forend. You just have to say whether you want the wood or synthetic. As far as the other question, I think they try to make the barrels the same diameter at the forend area, but I'm not sure.
