Cheap Steel Targets
« on: December 30, 2006, 04:42:31 AM »
wal-mart barbell weights...

the 2 1/2 lb ones are 5" circles with a 1 inch hole in center

and the 5 lb ones are 6 1/2" with a 1 inch center hole.

I haven't measured my larger weights to know size for longer range targets.

But Just a easy target that can be painted up orange and set out there a distance with some chain threw the center hole and hung over a saw horse so it will swing and move and not take the full blunt force of the rounds..

Call me cheap, yet I think alot and try to find some cheap and helpful tips to share with all.

gathering bed frame angle iron lately to make a few subframes I can weld up for lock on tree stands so I can mount small platforms But I only weight 145 lbs dripping wet in a snow suit.. HE HE..

Always out to save a buck to use it on more goodies...
