With a new CZ550 300 WM on the way. I have to figure out the best scope for the money. I need a scope that sets low as possible, can take the recoil with no problem, clear, water proof, reasonably priced and of course hold zero. Most hunting here, especially hogs will average a 60 to 70 yard shot off the shoulder. I hunt usually around creeks, heavy brush. I need a scope with a good eye relief and able to get on target quickly for a possible follow up shot,or in case a hog charges. I never seen that happen, but have heard of it.. I have been using a rifle with lyman peep sights. This works well at close range, but in poor light is difficult. It would be nice if the scope were capable of a 200 yard shot if ever necessary. Right now I am looking at the differant leupolds VX 2 and VX 3 and Burris. Any comments or suggestions appreciated.Happy New Year
