Breaking down the Marlin 336
« on: April 29, 2003, 09:30:28 AM »
I was just wondering if any of you guys know of a website where I can get instructions to break down my Marlin 336.  It's going to be a pain sending off to the gunsmith to have it cleaned.  Anyway, I wanna learn the ins and outs of this firearm.  Appreciate any help or instruction.

You can get a copy of the owner's manual from Marlin.  There are instructions on the breakdown procedures in it.  Try their website http://www.marlinfirearms.com/

If that doesn't work, let me know and I will scan the pages from my copy.  I had to take mine apart 2 years ago for a thorough cleaning because the lever would not seat properly and I was having trouble shooting.

Went to their site and got the snail mail address for you.

How can I get a product catalog or Owner's Manual?

To obtain an Owner's Manual
Please send your name and address to:
Marlin Services
P.O. Box 248
North Haven, CT 06473

Be sure to specify the model name and serial number of the specific firearms.
