Tang sight mounting for a Marlin 93
« on: January 01, 2007, 06:25:39 AM »
I am looking to mount a tang sight on a late model Marlin 93 made 1924 in 32-40.  The tang is drilled and tapped with two small, same size filler screws about 1.10 inches center to center. I noticed Marbles makes a new tang sight for Marlin 1894 and 1893 but they do not give the dimensions of the hole spacing.  Anybody ever mount a tang sight on a Marlin 93?

I put the Marbles sight called out for the '93 on a 30/30 in my collection.  Other than its fresh color looking out of place on the patina of this old workhorse, it works great.
