Let's see some handguns!
« on: January 02, 2007, 03:27:35 AM »
Hey guys I just thought some people would like to post some pics of their favorite handguns for hunting.  I've seen a lot of people posting about which handgun to use so I thought it would be neat to see some fine pics! Thanks guys!
When an Army captain asked him for the direction of the line of retreat, Col Puller called his Tank Commander, gave them the Army position, and ordered: "If they start to pull back from that line, even one foot, I want you to open fire on them."
Turning to the captain, he replied "Does that answer your question?
We're here to fight."

Old Griz,

They are just the rosewood looking ones that come with the pistol.  I will most likely strip them down when I get a chance, and put about 5 or 6 coats of tru oil on it.  I think the light is just hitting them just right to make you think they are high dollar ;D.

Old Griz,

My brother came out to visit the other day and brought my deer pistols, as well as his new camera, so I got to tinker.  Top one is the accusport bisley that I posted before, the second is a 6" GP-100 wearing Hogue grips, with the the soft backstrap grips.

Who did your five shot coversion from .357 to .44 Special on the Model 19?  Does small game include anything smaller than elk?  I have lots of confidence in the 4 inch S&W Model 24 I have.
