i have been looking at the gunstockinc web site, for a new stock for one of my handi rifles, stock and forend for my 30-06, want a walnut stock and forend, how much fitting is needed to match or get close to my gun fitting, what else should i need ?

To get them close..depends on how you want it finished...Mine took a lot of time and elbow grease to get it close..It wasn't completely done yet..but getting there...This is my 243 bull barrel

Mac that looks great.  Laminates are good, too, but I like a good walnut stock.  I am thinking about doing that to my 25-06.  Being from the muzzleloading community, I have built a rifle and a pistol from "kits" that took considerable work to get a fine fit and finish to.  What did you have to do to get the fit that you wanted?  I assume the barrel channel needed to be fitted.  How was the fit of the buttstock to the frame?

The come roughly fitted to the frame, but to make em nice requires a lot of finish work. Those come from a GBO sponsor, GSI, see their replacement stocks.
