new 223 project, bought several brands they measure from2.166 to 2.257 will this effect accuracy? how can i know the correct length for my chamber?

Well...each manufacture will load different a little differently with different weight bullets.....You can buy a Stoney point gauge and take a reading...Oppps...Sorry...Hornady bought them..and here's a link to them at Hornady now...

Somewhere I found a place that showed you how to make one of these your self..but basically you take a resized case and make 4 slits in the case neck with a dremal tool..and push a bullet into it..and slide it all the way into your chamber..it pushes in on the rifling but stays in the case when you remove the case...I haven't tried it yet..but plan on doing just that in the next couple of days..
