Scout Mount for BLR

Does anyone make such a thing?  XS sight systems makes some dandy ghost ring sights, But the scout scope system would put the BLR over the top in my opinion.

Anyone ever seen one or know of a gunsmith that makes one?

browning must be making one now, they come with the takedown model. I'd contact them and see what they say.

XS makes scout scope mounts for a lot of guns, check with them also. My question is why would you want to turn the finest hunting lever ever produced into a ugly gun  ::) I just don't like the scout scope look or feel. JMO. Byron

I'm wanting to try a ghost ring on my BLR and found the XS site but they mentioned the ghost ring with a ramp for $90.00
Not to sound stupid but what is the ramp? Am I also replacing my front sight?

I believe it was on there websight that i saw a takedown with a scout scope mounted on it.

I had a set of the XS sights for a Rem 700.  The ghost ring mounted on the rear of the reciever and the kit came with a test post for the front sight.  The intention is that you use your own front ramp.  Check out the Gen 3 front sight from Brockman's, it's pretty cool.

I quit trying to stuff all the features I wanted into a Mauser or Rem 700.  I went ahead and got a Steyr and it is COOL.  Waiting on the scope.
