Sure you can.  They swage down to the muzzle just fine.  Most all 410 barrels are full choke.  Only a few that I have seen are not.  The Rossi ss is Mod. choke and the Mossberg 410 Slugster is cyl. bore.  I think Browning sells one with choke tubes and one model of the 9410 Win. has choke tubes.  Those are the ones I know of, but mostly, just full chokes.  I just picked up a box of 1/5oz Rem. Sluggers for mine and a box of Winchester #6.  Both in 2 1/2".  Gonna get out to do some shooting tomorrow.  Telling Mamma I'm goin' shed hunting, but that takes 2nd place to shootin' the Tamer. ;D ;D

As I said, I opted for the 2 1/2's.  If you get 3's at 1/4 oz let me know how they shoot.

Haven't tried them yet.  Hoping to get out tomorrow....just don't know...got a lot on my plate for tomorrow.   Every time I got the time to get out, somethin' comes up and needs attention or I am just wore out from the last thing that came up and NEEDED attention.  Can't seem to get off that Merry-Go-Round these last couple weeks.  Will let ya know as soon as I get out with my Tamer.

I'm puppy sittin' and the GrandBoys are bowling with Grandma.  I got 2 new receivers completely cleaned(yes Gould one was the Tamer) and my 12ga stock fitted better.  I just may get out today, after all.  Hope so, it's supposed to snow about 6"tonight and then I won't see any sheds till spring.  SCREW THE CHORES....I can do them when its snowin'. ;D ;D

I got to shoot the slugs in my Tamer today. They shot great I got 5 shot groups just under 3 inches at 40 yards. For my uses that is great ;D This is a perfect woods gun for my neck of the woods #6 shot for tree rats and rabbits and a slug for a fox or songdog.

I got a 410 topper back in the mid 80's andit'll still sling a slug pretty good, it's a full choke also. It prefers the 2 1/2" too 8)

Well, same story as has been the case since Christmas.  I was about to head out the door and company showed up, stayed just long enough to keep it from happenin'.   :( :(  Guess I will have to wait till later in the week.
