Question for Quick...or Anyone Else

Can you use brake parts cleaner on the nickle finish Tamer without discoloring it?  Posted this on the Rifle forum and didn't get a response.  Anything else I should or shouldn't do with the nickle??

I used it on my TDC to clean the grease and filings out of the receiver when I first brought it home.  Of course you’ve got to wipe out the cleaner and wipe it down with an oily rag after.  Didn’t seem to hurt the finish on it.

I just tried some CRC Brakleen on mine, all it did was clean it and make it a little brighter!! I cleaned a spot on the inside of the frame first, just in case!! ;D

Shinier is good.  Mine has been sitting on the rack a few days and been handled a lot.  It could use a little shining up.  Thanks Tim and Topper for your help.
