Full Scale Lyle Gun

  Here's a few pics of a replica full scale lyle gun (2.25" bore) I built for a local collector.  The price for one is 900 dollars, complete with accroutements. crate and shipping is an extra charge.  If anyone is interested in one, they can contact me by E-mail.  dwc414@hotmail.com

That is a good looking unit and from what I understand about the Lyle gun, it kicks like Hell.

   Thanks Bill,   They do when they fire the original weight projectile.  I think the projectile weighs about 18 lbs or so.  Paul Barnett of South Bend Replica's  has a book on Lyle Guns, and he's done a bit of testing with them.  I test fired the one above with blank charges [1300 grains of cannon grade] and it didn't move at all.  Dom
