Stimpy,

You showed great restraint and intestinal fortitude by passing that rifle up.  I feel you should be proud of yourself and you should give yourself a pat on the back.  After you're through patting yourself on the back I feel you should bend over and allow us to kick you as it is both difficult and inefficient to do so yourself. ;D  What were you thinking?!!  I assume that you were over at the fairgrounds in Lima at the show.  I get over there as much as work and Mom allows.  I need to get the schedule and get over there at least one more time this year.  Don't worry too much about that rifle... think of it this way, maybe the guy that ends up with it will also turn into one of us and then he can infect another, and another, and... well, you get the picture. :)

I don't want to be the one to kick you buddy, it seems as if you have done that already. Any chance in any way of going back and getting it?....<><.... :-[

Stimpy-
I know that feeling too. I just missed a .243 with scope only slightly used for $225 about two weeks ago. I would have had to drive to Pennsylvania, but I am practically on the border of PA anyway here in Steubenville!

My wife would be very happy if I showed such restraint, even once.

i believe in the 'old wheeze' that says, "follow your first hunch".

leave it alone and when your next project gets off the ground next month, maybe then buy it.

i just sold a rifle and i feel great about doing so.   one less in gun safe.......but i wasn't shooting it enough anyway.   i let a friend have the .270 ADL' i'd bought last winter when Wal Mart was clearing them out for $300 apiece.    he'll enjoy the rifle; and i really don't think i'll miss it.

you'll be alright with what you've got already.
