Just need to see what I have on my shelf, not much for this cal I think so you folks who have loaded for the 25-06 in a handi give me an idea of what powder worked for you, Maybe I can keep the cost of finding the sweet spot down
Thanks

Both powders will work well.
Congrats on your rifle.
25-06 is a nice round.

Of these 2 powders, Rel. 19 for bullets under 100 grains, Rel 19 or 22 for 100 gr. bullets with a advantage for Rel22 & for all bullets over 100 gr, RL22 for sure.

Has anyone tried Magpro in this cartridge?

One other thing, If I may diverge.  I read "Cartridges of the World" probably every day.  Im weird, so what.  But, the writer sure seems to have a grudge against the 25-06.  Has anyone else picked up on this.  He never misses an opportunity to when comparing a similar cartridge to the 25-06 to downplay the capability of the 25-06.  I dont think it bothers me, but I have noticed it thru out the book.

He must not own a Handi, or a terrible shot? 100 gr bullet delivers 3200+ fps, and 2300+ ftlbs, while not a gorilla killer, more than ample game cartridge.
...there are many kinds of wounded, and only one kind of dead. Do it the Handi way, one shot, one kill.
