My Z5 is great! Generally the differences are the Z5 has a stainless breechblock and blued barrel, traditional style black synthetic stock and a lesser quality ( to me anyway) rear sight. The polish of a regular Omega is alittle nicer as well. The Z5 is the entry level rifle but it can be fitted with any stock or accessory made for the regular Omega. My Z5 is superbly accurate and came out of the box with the best factory trigger I've ever had.Accurate , reliable , extremely effective and , oh yes, easy to clean...

Jake,

The big difference is the click adjustable sight the old/regular omega has.  The Z5 has the "bump and guess" rear sight which makes sighting in a little less convient.

If you plan on using a scope it isn't an issue.
