dominick, Wow I really like that recoiling barrel. Did you have a drawing to go by? If so where did you get it? I think I may have to make one of those. Thanks for the videio.  Butch

dominick, After veiwing a few more posts I see that you sell cannons. I am new here so please forgive my tactical error. I ceartainly would not expect you to give up your sources when you are in the business for a profit, not just a hobby. Still one fine looking gun though.  Butch

  I don't have any plans or blue prints.  I use photographs and from those pictures, if you know the original measurement [ ie. wheel diameter, barrel length]  of one part of the cannon, you can scale most of the measurements from several photos.  All the mechanics of the recoil system are my own design.  Dom

Dominick, I looked at the video's that El Cazador posted, very nice guns also. Am I right in assumeing the weather was somewhat less than nice as you fired them in the shop?

The person I built this cannon for made some modifications to the shield, installed a new elevation device, and supplied the wooden wheels.  He also built the limber.  Dom
