The first part is easy. There are hundreds of programs to rip MP3 files from CDs. The second part is not so easy. Adjusting the volume of an MP3 generally requires a program leaning to the professional side. They are available, an if you look in forgotten corners of the 'net you can find them for free download. Magix makes a pretty good program that I bought for $40 at Best Buy. With it, you can not only adjust the volume, but you could combine multiple tracks. Say creating a sound where the rabbit in distress is squealing over coyote barks or something like that.
