Adjusting Ruger's New LC-6 Trigger
« on: January 12, 2007, 09:55:55 AM »
Does anyone know how to do this and if so where the instructions can be found.  They are not in the owner's manual.

Ahab I think you may be right.  Just went to Ruger's website and it says the LC-6 is new, improved, and crisp but says nothing about it being adjustable.  I thought that I had read somewhere that this new trigger was going to be adjustable.  Could have been ficticious internet fodder.  Thank you for your reply.

Ahab, What is the lightweight? Is it the hawkeye stainless synthetic what is its configuration?
Definatly my next purchase is the hawkeye 7mm/08.
Give me some feedback on how she shoots.
Are you shooting handloads or factory rounds?
Thanks!

Don't know about adjustment on the new trigger, but dealer measured the pull on a new hawkeye right in front of me, it came in at 4# and crisp.
aim small, miss small

This was a special run called the "Whitetail", SS, 20" thin barrel, target grey matt finish, and black syn stock. I believe it to be the precursor to the Hawkeye. I put a Zeiss Qonquest 3-9x40 on it. Bore is extremely smooth. I shoot handloads and so far it likes a 160gr Sierra HPBT with a full dose of R-19. Does .5 MOA. :)

They have a few of those on GalleryofGuns for sale right now, very interesting rifle, Ive got a 7mm/08 with a 20 in. barrel now its a Weatherby MarkV, I think they called it a carbine.
Its always been strange to me that ruger never offered, or if they did I dont know about it, a standard or a lightweight 7/08 untill I think last year a all weather.
The Hawkeye has got me up in the air right now, Ive found a couple of all weathers but Im kinda partial to wood blue.
guess i kinda got off subject sorry!

Thanks for the reply
