Yes, the inline muzzleloader hunters got stabbed in the back by the traditional clan. And why, so they can have less competion for a public resourse. They claimed the inline guns represented an unfair advantage due to advances in technologies. Never mind that the guns that actually posses the "new technologies" were already prhibited because they use the 209 primers (Idaho has never allowed 209 primers) When asked to explain just what the new technologies are, they say nothing. They have openly admitted the dispairity is not that great of a concern with the inlines that use #11 or musket caps, what the real issue is , they want fewer hunters in the MZ seasons giving them greater opotunity and less cometition for the public resourse. They are also claiming the inline guns kill too many mule deer which is leading to decreased mule deer numbers. So based on those argumants they are forcing the inline guns (#11 and musket only) guns into the modern firearms seasons where there is a definate disparity of balistic performance. Thats right, the traditional hunters complain about unfair advantage, but they have no problem forcing hunters who use guns that have very much the same performance as the traditional guns and force them into a season where they have to compete with the whole gamit of cartridge arms, such as the Weatherby's, Remington Ultra Mags and Lazzaronies. Now that is dispairity. Stabbe in the back by fellow hunters.
